Regular attendance at an early years setting or at school is fundamental to children's learning, development, and long-term life chances. Every day children spend in an educational environment provides vital opportunities to build relationships, develop routines, and engage in meaningful learning experiences. When children attend consistently, they are more likely to thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. 

With the focus now more than ever on the importance of regular attendance at school or early years provision, the Local Authority has worked with partners to produce this short film which shares key messages about the benefits of regular attendance from the perspectives of professionals, parents/ carers and children alike.
