Year 3/4: Tree frogs - adding paint
Now that we have drawn our characterful tree frogs, it is time to paint the background using poster paint and a sgraffito technique.
The children added paint in different shades of green in sections and then formed patterns using the other end of the brush:
Some pupils added leaf shapes, others chose lines, swirls, dots or a combination of patterns.
We learned a new technique through this project, had a lot of fun and the finished paintings look amazing!
