Year 3/4: Van Gogh Almond Blossom
Miss Hartman-Ayer and Mrs Hazlehurst's class have taken Van Gogh's Almond Blossom as their inspiration for the Art Exhibition.
The children began by sponging a textured background onto their paper, thinking about where the lighter areas should be:
Once the background was dry, the children carefully painted the branches:
The final step was to add the Blossom and some suggestion of leaves:
