Keeping Children Safe - Support for Parents/Carers

‘You won’t know until you ask’

The Department for Science, Innovation, and Technology (DSIT) has launched a new campaign to help parents have open conversations with children about harmful online content, including misogynistic material, body shaming and rage bait.

‘You won’t know until you ask’ provides practical tools and prompts to support parents to talk about what children are seeing online, strengthen critical thinking, and challenge misinformation.

Help your child stay safe online https://kidsonlinesafety.campaign.gov.uk/  This provides useful practical information and tips for parents to know what to ask their children about their internet use and have conversations about difficult topics and harmful content.
